Ideas and Direction (150 words)

A number of ideas comes to mind when re-inventing this dwelling. Most prominent of this would manifest from its signature cantilever forms and re-inventing it for use in another context such as site.

1. Am thinking site context and placing the dwelling in urban area/city, and utilising its elastic cantilever form and multiplying atop of one-another to create a distinctive apartment block with 180deg views.
2. Modernist meets post-modernist ideals, adding the influence of another architect with futuristic designs.
3. Replacing the whole structure except for its columns and placing another contrasting design on top of it.

 At the moment, the direction would require further research on other dwellings designed by another architect for inspiration and modify the current model or re-create another from scratch.
